   great show guys! now don’t get too polished. it was the relaxed attitude, loose topic agendas, kvetching, bickering, and general sloppiness that lent a charm to the original MvS video chats. BUT i do love the addition of the interviews and the funny vignettes.

    Hey - Maron V Seder web masters… I built a site that has also run into the “full screen” glitch with a flash video player. I solved ours by something involving the z-index of the embed and/or the “wmode=transparent” value. I wish I could remember the exact fix to the glitch, but if you google these terms you’ll probably find what I’m talking about. Hope this helps. Hope this doesn’t send you on a wild goose chase.

    Terrific shows! It is so great to see you guys together again. It makes me not miss MorningSedition (almost!). Now if you can get Kent Jones/Lawton Smalls and some of the other great bits from Sedition, like Morning Remembrance, etc., from time to time, a lot more would be right with the world. Even without that, I’m so glad to have you back. Keep up the great work!

    Yes– Can you release your shows as an audio-only podcast? Seriously. I have an 1895 iPod, the first ever made, and it just doesn’t have video capabilities. I am a big podcast fan and can’t be listening when you are on live, unfortunately. Please accommodate us hopelessly out of touch listeners.
    (You are both way cuter than Sarah Palin!)

    That said, for some reason the feed is too slow and it keeps pausing (I have a high speed connection so that’s not the problem). I can’t tell if it helps to pause it to let it catch up or not, I’m too impatient in a Marc Maron sort of way.

    Hope you can fix that for a smoother feed.

    Wow, I didn’t realize you guys were going to make such a leap from the quality of the old Maron vs Seders. This is impressive.

    Just one thing, when I watch the shows live, the Mogulus feed seems to hiccup for about 10-20 seconds once or twice a show. I guess it’s a trade off, these archived Blip.tv shows look perfect, but lack the excitement of watching live. Anyways, cheers, this is great stuff.

    I just so completely adore both of you and have gone insane (exiled down in Australia) without you guys on the air (drove across country to see Maron in Aus!). Now that I can get a regular Maron / Seder fix we’ll find out if insanity is reversible- HOWEVER…I just gotta point out that you missed one on the 2nd show when you interviewed Rachel Skiar. Coming straight out o the ZOMBIE LIE KILLER sketch why on earth was Sam eating turnovers when Bear Claws would have been decent laugh

    PS: Marc my insanity also takes the form of compulsive food preparation- it’s weird though cuz I don’t eat the stuff, just feed it to the people around me. Listen, regards your scones hun, I think you over work your dough. I don’t know if this was a common theme in your marriages- but a lighter touch gives a better result I’m gonna give the current and almonds a go- nice…9and I’ll send you some recipes off-line.

    Hey, suggested reading for Maron regarding the show on 10/9. I would highly recommend that you take a look at “Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon” by Daniel C. Dennet, an American philosopher with plenty of great ideas. The crux of the book is just what you addressed on the show: that religion will not go away any time in the foreseeable future, so we must, therefore, think about how we can make it evolve into a more positive force. Fascinating stuff, particularly for someone who considers himself “on the fence” regarding a supreme deity.

    Last. I love you guys. They need to put you in a 3 hour slot - you will have to sharpen the show up a little… but I kinda like the “organized chaos” fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants kinda thing.

    We can’t all afford a T-3 connection…

    You really need to separate past episode on different pages. It could be one page per week or something.
